OUR STORY
For years, I had built a thriving business outfitting men in the White Bear Lake area with J.Hilburn’s custom clothing. But time and time again, my friends, and especially their wives, asked me the same question: “When will you do this for women?” I knew the need was there, but the right pieces didn’t exist… yet.
In mid-2024, I reconnected with two industry experts whose missions aligned perfectly with my own. Rachel Lefort, founder of Midnight Oil, was redefining womenswear with beautifully tailored, made-to-measure suiting, filling a gap so many women struggled with.
Around the same time, I met a manufacturer with five decades of experience who was pioneering toxin-free, made-to-order essentials to solve the slow fashion problem. A deep dive into color consulting reinforced my belief that style should be intentional, effortless, and personal. I saw a clear opportunity to bring these elements together under one roof.
Style Lab was born as a one-stop destination for curated, sustainable, and elevated wardrobes, giving clients a smarter way to build their closets and a better way to shop.
